Maternity cover for you and your baby can only be taken up between 13 and 36 weeks of pregnancy. Miss it and it can't be backdated — for this pregnancy, that's it.

What it covers for mum+
  • ✓17 pregnancy complications covered
  • ✓Gestational diabetes — up to S$2,000
  • ✓Postpartum depression — up to S$1,000 on diagnosis
  • ✓Psychological consultations — S$100 a session
  • ✓Hospital care — up to S$400 a day, up to 50 days
  • ✓Assisted pregnancies, including IVF, are covered
What it covers for baby+
  • ✓25 congenital illnesses covered — including Down's Syndrome
  • ✓Hospital care — 2% of sum assured daily, up to 25 days, across 8 conditions
  • ✓The policy transfers to your baby with no medical underwriting, within 60 days of birth
  • ✓Your baby then carries cover for death, terminal illness and total & permanent disability
  • ✓Optional health cover can be added without underwriting, 14–90 days after birth

That last one matters most. A baby born with a condition may never qualify for cover later. Taken up now, the cover is already theirs.
